The Nebrodi mountains

The Nebrodi mountains are a mountain range that together with the Madonie to the west and the Peloritani to the east make up the Sicilian Apennines.

The natural landscape of the Nebrodi is characterized by different slopes, but mainly by the rich vegetation and humid environments that favor the development of flora and fauna.

It is possible to walk along the mountain roads of cattle and sanfratellani horses, among the main breeding activities and a native breed is the Black Pig of the Nebrodi living in the wild inside the park.
